I already have one ocellaris clown and I would like to add another...Any tips on how I should go about this? I've herd that the new one has to be bigger than the one I have and I've heard it the other way around. I've heard same size would work so now I just want your guys opinion

In my experience, once a clown fish has staked his territory it's a crap shoot as to whether they will accept a mate. I had a female maroon and added a smaller male and as they do, she let him know who the boss was, but she settled down and "tolerated" him. My suggestion would be to see if you can find someone to take the one you have, maybe the LFS and get a pair. that way you will not have to worry

Depending on the size and species.. Occellaris aren't as mean as maroon but they can get territorial. If your clown is on the 2" size get one that are 1-1.5" but grab him from a tank with a few clowns in it. Try to intro him using a clear breeder box then Let him go after a few hours. They will fight but this is normal. Just check to see if the bigger one over do it if so put him back into the box. One thing if there are anything in there she calls home remove it and retro him again. Usually by removing her home she becomes less aggressive. Good luck

Territorial I get but what about with other fish?

Once all the clowns I've had find a nem or whatever to host, as long as nothing goes to them picking a fight, they seem to leave everyone alone. I have a fairly large naso and for some reason momma clown doesn't like it but the naso just doesn't come around and all is well. As stated, once they host, I've never seen a clown swim around looking to pick a fight, even a large gold-striped I had. They seem interested in the nem and don't seem to go looking for trouble (not to say that there aren't some aggressive ones out there, it's just never been a problem for me)

My mocha clown is evil.. hes an only child now (his mate passed away one day for no idea why.. but in my defense i dont think hosting the heater was a good idea.. ) but anyways its vicious! it bites me every time it can...

sorry, i didnt contribute at all.... i wouldnt do it, its way stressful on everyone involved. id sell the one and get two or its time to put the little guy into a frag tank and let them live out their days

I still won't give my opinion but I will go on record as saying IMO its a bad move... but will wish u luck! Everybody has had different experiences.
...this is the part where i get jumped on. Don't get arguing with anybody's opinion though, although it happens here often.

Man you should see my home association (or how it used to be) I always try to abide by the saying that we can agree to disagree. And when dealing with animals, no 2 are alike, so as you say, what might have worked for someone might not work for someone else. Sorry if some want to argue an opinion, it's sad.

I'd listen to liquid, he has Maroons, Percs, and occelarris in the same tank successfully. I take all the clown advice I can from him
