want to add some small fish to 75 gal.

When I get the 6 line out, I want to add some gobys and blennys or something like those. Most of the ones ive been looking at are rated for 10 gallons on live aquarias site. Which ones do I need to stay away from? Can I add about 6? Which ones will not play nice with each other? Can I rely on all the information that live aquaria gives about the fish such as tank size and aggressiveness? I have 2 clowns , a small scopas and a small bristle tooth. They all stay on one side of the tank, Whats up with that?

Catalina Gobies.

As far as compatibility it's going to be a toss up. You'll have a better chance of them getting along if you add them all at the same time.

Why not a Catalina? I believe you but live aquaria says its peaceful and moderate care. That's what I was talking about when believing their info.

It's a colder water species. The local Petco here even carries them often. 60-70F instead of our usual reef tank temps.

In my 80g I had the following with no problems at all. These were just the gobies and blennies...I also had a purple tang and a clown pair. They all just need enough rock work to have their own space. The Golden Midas and Tailspot lived on opposite sides of the tank in their own holes at the top of the rocks. The Randalls lived on the bottom of the tank under the rocks and the Green Banded went everywhere.

I had to tear the tank down but I plan on a similar list when I get set back up.

another thing i didnt look at was the temperature. Live aquaria shows the temp at 60 to 70. Mine stays from 78 to 81. Thanks because I was actually looking at that one.

What about a fox face rabbit fish? Its bigger then I want but I want something yellow and really dont want to add another tang

You could do a fox face in the 75g. I am planning on eventually adding one to my 72 gal will probably go with the one spot fox face since they stay a little bit smaller. One thing to remember with the fox face is that their spines are poisionous, from what I have read they will use it in defence but you will want to be careful when handling the fish or when you have your hands inside.

As for the info that live aquaria gives I have found it to be pretty reliable when I have compared their info to other places on the web and if you ever have any questions you can post them up here on the forum.

If I got new fish that were larger then the 6 line, will he bother them? He didnt bother the bristle tooth when I put him in, just the small 2 spot goby.
