I'm about to redo my 90 today lol
I need some more sand bed as well and I want to get rid of all frag racks

FOLLOWING!!!!

A friend of mine has a 125. They have a series of arches. They drilled the rock and set pipe through it to make colomns, then connected the top of the columns with rock. Looks really cool and lots of sand bed space.

Wish I had the time... My next build will be done that way... Gonna bite the bullet and commit this weekend..

From what I can see in the pic, it looks like your best bet at possibly reducing the structure is on the left side. I would either remove or rehome the rocks circled in red. You should try creating a small island and big island which would free up some sand bed space and give a more open look. The big/small island will provide more viewing pleasure as right now your tank is very semmetrical

My buddy just came by the other day and helped me with scape on our 120. I like it a lot but may redo right side a bit. Not sure yet. Still cycling dry rock I added.

Well I re scaped yesterday and am un satisfied... I removed all rock and began replacing it... Almost looks the same... I think I just have too much rock....

Build a backdrop that leaves part of the back glass exposed and cover the exposed glass section with blue oceanic vinyl. The backdrop could itself be sort of ledgy and in some sections extend out into the floor of the tank. The overall effect would give your tank more depth and appear like the top of a reef legde with the ocean extending out behind it.
-I just finished building a wall for my nano reef and wish I had taken this approach from the outset... but am done my wall and anyways my tank is only 14 gallons... Hope this helped.
