Hello

I have a 75 gallon tank that is doing very well, I have another tank that I would love to make a sea horse tank. I have heard they are not possible to keep a live. I am wondering if anyone has any tips and is there a more hearty sea horse group. If you have pictures of your sea horse tank I would love to see them

I haven't kept them myself however have done research on them. They are definitely possible to keep alive just harder than most fish. They tend to be slow eaters so you cannot keep them with most fish, they also like to latch onto things so certain corals should be avoided or kept e.g. they like leathers and gorgonians. This video might help as a starting point for further research.

That was awesome I was not told that they would be that easy to take care of, the person I spoke to made it sound impossible.

along for the information

I have never owned seahorses but I certainly think they are very cool and a great idea for your tank. I agree on the other posts, they would not go well with most fish, so you would need a new tank for them. They also like to have something to hang on to such as a chain or branching corals. Good luck! :)
