I have an asfur and a blue face in my reef tank, so far so good they have not mess with any of the coral, knoc on wood!

As you know, I am looking to get one, and I've done quite a bit of research on them. Everyone that has one seems to love it. The forums on their website is great, and they answer any question you have quickly.

Mainly I think people don't like it because of the programing. Besides that I can't think of any other negative. You can have may controllable outlets with this for a very reasonable price.

I have one and really like it. I'm still figuring out the WiFi. Has a lot of features and you can control anything you want. Get one! You'll love it.

Ok I'm looking at one of these also but not sure about setting it up. Just want something to run lights , dosing pumps and to monitor the tank . Just afraid if to technical that will get discouraged and not be able to figure out setting it up. Needs to be pretty simple or it will just be waste of money . Any thoughts on this one or if something else is more user friendly and not that technical.

I still have my apex, I am now just using a dim4 to control the lights.

I was days away from buying the Reef Angel when a deal on an apex fell into my lap that I couldn't pass up. So I upgraded my ACIII to an Apex and that was the end of the Reef Angel talk for me.

However they are coming out with new cool stuff all the time. If I buy a new controller it will be a Reef Angel.

Just purchased the reef angel plus w/ pwm dimming (even though my LEDs are manual dimming. Wanted the more memory).
