With Tunze releasing all these new designs and moving to wider nozzles I have to ask the question. How long until we see an entirely revamped line from them? I would like to try them when I upgrade my tank to either an 80 or 120 rimless and wondered how they rollout new releases!? Do they slow roll and change one unit at a time or BAM, out with the old, in with the new.

:ooh: Maybe someone around here can help ya' out! :D

I dont know about their new models but I have used a few of their products from pumps to skimmer to osmolator and have always been pleased. You will not regret them

I'm interested in the wide flow pumps, the Stream 6255. However, one site posted up a price of $600+

Ya, I was looking into the smaller 6095 series, after I buy two pumps and a contrller for them I am back at the top of the budget. I love my Ecotech MP 40's but im all about silence when it comes to the tank, not quiet, but silent. However, the Ecotech products, in my eyes look cleaner once installed rather than having wires in the tank. Its a tough choice and both products look great which is why I cant decide.

Maybe I just got lucky, but my 2 x MP40s and 1 x MP10 (nano) are basically silent. I rarely hear them unless I walk up to the tank.

I got turned off with Tunze when trying to run the smaller ones, like the 6025/6045 on a timer and they click really bad when turning on. However, I would try the newer pumps if I needed to replace the EcoTechs.
