Wantanabi angel fish pair questions??

Ok so I have a vendor who can get me one of my dream fish and hopefully showpiece of my 220 gal
But before I spend the $ around 300 for a male female and hope they pair and don't get swim bladder disease
Which I've read they r very susceptible too because of the depth they r collected ! I wanted to see if anyone has exp with them here!
First off I have a juvi changing to adult emperor and a sm flame and tiny cherub angle as of now those 3 have 0 issues with each other have not noticed any aggression at all !
I'm alittel worried about the emperor with the wantanabi pair

I have a pair. They were both female when I got them. After about a year or so one turned male. They were doing great for a very long time but now the male just chases the female and keeps her in a hole. When lights go down she comes out and they do some mating rituals together. Not sure if the heavy aggression is just a strong attempt at mating or not.

No problems whatsoever with the other fish which I have an Achilles, Magnificent fox face, Borbonius anthills, 4 flame wrasses and a couple of others. I do not have any other angels.

I have a female (about 4 1/2"). My favorite fish in the tank. She doesn't bother anyone and is very beautiful with long streamers. I'm pleased with my one and won't be sad either way if she changes to male or not. If you want a pair, I thinke the way to go is to get two different size females and let them work out who will be male.

If they are truly paired up it should be fine. I wouldn't just buy a male and female and try to pair them. I would get two females and let one turn male.

IME females are generally more hardy as larger males can have a tough time acclimating to captive conditions. With that said a properly collected/handled male shouldn't be to hard to keep.

I wouldn't expect any unusual aggression from your emp towards the watanabi's.

Hi it's a full grown male with streamers he's coming out from time too time but hiding mostly!!
