Hello friends,

I have a 60g reef and I have been facing a challenge for the last 4 months: aiptasia. They started as a few polyps that I tried dealing with de Aiptasia-X from RedSea. However, over the months they spread through all my tank. Today I can't tell how many of them are in my display. About 2.5 months ago I tried a new thing: Berghia Nudibranch (I added 4). For two months I've waited and did not see any difference. Then, 2 weeks ago I brought a Copper band. However, I haven't seen it eating aiptasia so far (even thought it is looking very healthy and active). So, my scenario now is this: lots of Aiptasia, nor sure if my Nudibranchs have thrived (I hadn't seen them for more than a month until today, when I saw a big one, but only one) and my Copper Band is not beautiful but not eating Aiptasia.

Do you guys have any suggestions? Do you believe I should wait? Any suggestion will help, this creatures are harming my corals!

Thank you

Heniochus diphreutes not the heniochus acuminatus. The diphreutes eats aipstasia and not coral and the acuminatus eats coral not aipstasia. They both look identical except for some very small features.
Peppermint shrimp a lot of them

My CBB ate nothing but tube worms for the first month. I had lost patience by that time and ordered a mohano wand. The wand didn't completely kill them but wounded them and it was the wounded Aptasia that my CBB would then go after. Soon he got with the plan and would devour the apts without my help and in a couple weeks the Aptasia was gone.
