What is a Waratah Anemone? I have found a few online and the only information I can find is they are from Australia. Are they tube anemones? Do they need anything special for care? Do they house clowns?

Doesnt seem reef safe and requires cool water.

They are regular anemones with a foot..not similar to a tube anemone. They don’t host any fish as they are found in tide pools and they are aggressive like mini carpet anemones and will eat any fish they can get ahold of. As for care they are same for other nems

I found these. I have never heard of them before your post. They are really pretty! However their habitat seems very different from what we keep in reef tanks (tide pool + colder water)

Hey I know you! From the WWC live sale. I just picked up one of these guys from AquaSD. The only place I've seen them. So far so good. I had a dino outbreak and it closed up almost the entire time, I wasn't sure if it would make it but at soon as the dinos cleared up it opened up. It's open most of the time and the tube/foot can either be long or they can press up right against the rock. Seems to generally aim itself at the flow to catch food. They definitely need to be fed although mine is very aggressive about catching food when I broadcast Rod's. My water is at 80 and it seems to be doing fine. Hides under a shelf that would otherwise have nothing in it, so that is nice. Weird that I came across this because I actually just took this video of it feeding at night. The video is in real-time, like I said they are very aggressive about catching food and their tentacles move faster than any other nem I've seen. P.S> I trust AquaSD enough that they wouldn't be selling nems that will not work out.
