Hello Reef2Reef peeps!

This build journal has to start somewhere, so why not at the beginning?
After 30 years of keeping freshwater, I've decided to have my go at a reef.

Let's start with the stand shall we?

1 1/2" welded sq. tube, with 8 threaded adjustable levelling mounts, powder coated.
48" x 18 1/2" x 32" tall.

More to follow once I figure out how to navigate this entry page.

Continuing with the build. It's been a long road, but almost ready for salty greatness.

nice work- did you make the stand your self? are the LEDs over the sump so you can see or are they for a refugium?

I had the stand made at a local metal shop and the cabinets were made at a woodworkers next door.
The LED's are strictly utility lighting, as I am running full ZeoVit and no refugium.
Some other equipment I am running includes:
AquaC EV180 with a Mag9.5
ZeoVit 1.5l reactor
Eheim compact+ 5000 return pump
Vertex Libra dosing
Apex with PM2
MP40
DIY 12 gal reservoir with Hydor ATO and Rio600+
Kessil A360W for lighting

Wow, your sump has been wired up crazily tidy! Subscribed!

Awesome clean set up!!!! One word of advisement. Just breaking down a 90g FOWLER tank....that has been in same place for 9 years on Pergo flooring. Selling condo to move to fiancee place. Turns out, little splash here and there jacked up my floors underneath. Discolored wood floor and cupped boards. UGH!!! working on getting estimate for new home buyer. Prob do a generous credit at closing. I noticed some of the higher end tanks have "drip trays" to protect from spillage.....just food for thought. Awesome setup you got!!!!
