Yesterday when I got home it was 77 degree in the house... I know the 180 with 80 degree water is a big heat source.. but 77.. ?

Anyone?

I feel the humidity that is put off by my tank on certain days. The weather right now is very frustrating for my tank. reaching the high 60's during the day, and then dropping into the 30's at night. there is a bit more of a swing in the tank than I like. It has dropped as low 76.5 at night and gone to 80 during the day on a few occasions.

Yea, I am battling the humidity and the temperture in my house. lol too much water going on..

Pelagic,
You must be who I met Sat. morn.
Im new to this but temp is my business. If its one room having this swing it may be heat from equip causing the problem. T-stat only cant adjust for these differences. A nice t-stat with an automatic change over from heat and cool would help keep a consistent temp adjusting for swings in ambient temp.
I have my tank in a patio room of sorts (converted garage) concrete slab and triple french door. This setup would be a temp swing nightmare.
I dont have wild swings since I installed a Mitsubishi ductless heat pump.
Very high end but a solution.
Hope to back to you soon on some coral. I hope that purple death colors up.
Mike
