Warm kalk loose potency?

Limewater is a little less soluble at higher temps. If it is actually saturated at a lower temp and then warms, some may precipitate, but at 100 deg F it will retain a lot of its potency (and won't lose any if it is not actually saturated to begin with, as it often is not).

Awesome thank you for the reply. So it’s nothing that your would worry about? Would the precipitate redissolve when it cools back down?

The only issue might be that it would precipitate up inside the tube that runs through the 100' area, so you might end up with some caking on the inside of that tubing/pipe.

I wouldn't worry too much. :)

Mine did that over time anyway even with the whole system at the same temp in my basement. A good plan is to run some acid (vinegar or diluted muriatic) through it once a year or so to clean it out. :)
