I am having an issue where the faucet that has the RODI connected to it is only producing warm water. Its at about 84 degrees. I know hot water is an issue for the RODI filters but is warm water at 84 degrees a major problem or can I still use it until the issue is fixed? TIA

84 isn't horrible. Most of the time testing on membranes is performed in the 76-79 range just depends on manufacturer. Most are typically done at 77/78.

84 won't instantly kill your membrane or anything but your filters may not last as long at the elevated temp.

That being said I wouldn't be overly concerned about 84, but if possible get it down below 80.

As a side note most membranes can handle temps up to 113, but that's not a guarantee so your particular membrane may handle higher or lower temps.

Thank you for the fast and detailed response! I also called BRS and they basically said the same thing, it should be just fine. Appreciate it!
