Warning on the new jebao dual output controllers

ATTENTION JEBAO USERS:

It has come to my attention that the new Jebao Dual Controller NEEDS the new power adapter. I spoke with the factory and all dual controllers come with a new power adapter and plug included. The dual controller will burn out without them.

It has also come to my attention that Fish-Street is selling the Controller and Adapters seperate (selling their own brand adapter at that). If you order from them you will only receive the controller. Be careful to plug that into your current adapters!

This was from one of the only actual jebao us distributors , he even has a message from Eric at fish street saying they came with adaptors, however fish street is removing them making you buy their adaptors

This is for the dual controller. Ordering another pump will get you another single controller which doesn't have any power supply problems that I am aware of.

I ordered the extra power supply not knowing what they were doing. I have not used it yet though, i am just running the WP10s so they need the littlest power.

Looking at their packages. Can get 2- wp25's and the twin controller for $130. Looks like the power supply is $13.. Cant beat that set up shipped to your door for $180

The package says it comes with the powersupply needed. Is the issue that the supply in that $130 package isnt adequate and you have to order one separately?

If you buy the package, you are ok. But if you buy une pump AND the dual controller because you have one pump at home, then in this situation you need the new power supply.

Well, I was an early supporter of these pumps, but I've just had my 2nd WP25 pump die. I have 4 in use and 3 back ups... and I got the back ups for just this kind of situation... well, I've used 2 of the backup pumps already. The controller is fine and when I hooked up a new powerhead, it ran fine. The old powerhead on the new controller (not a dual controller but an old single unit) still didn't run. This is the 2nd to fail like this in the last couple of months and the pumps are only 6-9 months old. I know they are way less expensive, but between failures and Jebao's terrible customer service and reputation, I think I'm done buying them.

I had one lock up on me if u spin the propeller with something it my start back up like mine did. U may have to spin it a few times

They need to be cleaned more often than Vortechs or Tunzes. Vinegar or Hydor Magi Klean.

Does anyone know if you can mix power head sizes with the dual controller. Could I run a WP25 and a WP10 on it?

Another warning about this. When you order just the controller and standard power supply, it DOES NOT come with the power cord. You have to supply your own cord. A common computer cord works but, to me, that's not the point.
