I am thinking of getting a new fish and I just love the way that warthead gobies look. However, I can't find any information about them.

LiveAquaria lists their max size as 1 inch, but also lists a 25 gallon requirement. What's the catch?

Are you thinking of Paragobiodon species?

paragobiodon modestus
The reason for it is their diet. These guys are a PITA to keep alive and when they come in they’re generally not big enough to even eat pods, you need to feed them Zooplankton.
