I wouldn't do it, they will cannibalize each other. I've seen it happen twice 1st hand with people trying to keep 2 together, no matter how hard you try to keep their growth rate similar. Anyone who has done it successfully chime in and say how long you kept them together.

I’ve seen it done, but I don’t know how longterm it is. Mine would not think twice of eating anything that moves and fits in his mouth. To high a risk for me.

There are documented cases of a frogfish eating another frogfish larger than itself. I don't think it will work longterm.

It’s really simply just a very old 200l tank I keep round the side of the house with low end brackish water, few chunks of live rock in the bottom and over run with algae and what ever falls in, bugs, leaves etc.

Edit: the feeder shrimp like cold water so it’s not heated.

Awesome, sounds simple enough. Do they breed for you?

Anyone ever tried keeping on of these in a sump refugium? I want one, but he will eat all my other fish.

Frogfish are very interesting animals. If I'm not mistaken ,these fish are evolving to one day leave the sea. A few 10 millions of years should do it.
Or are they just so well adapted to their home?

Certainly have very arm like fins, Rhino looks like he body builds.
He even has cute little ‘hands’ so we better watch out for opposable thumbs! Lol
