Well that is unusual, looks like an Amphipod type but I do not believe I have seen one with those physical characteristics. Please post an image of the coral in question, specifically the base.
Well that definitely is an issue. My first usual suspect is water chemistry, we need to start there with some basic values. Looks like algae is getting the upper hand and that needs to be resolved.
These leather are extremely hardy and tolerate a lot of abuse. I would do a water change, a larger one. Remove the leather and cut the steam from the cap to viable tissue. Use sharp cutting instruments. Unless the underlying water quality issue is resolved the corals will continue to suffer.
The arthropod is simply dinning on decaying tissue IMO.

Is your water source RO/DI?
What interventions are you using to combat that elevated phos level. Seems odd the phos level is so high but nitrates are not registering.
I would still proceed with water changes with RO/DI.

Phosphates are being introduced some how, via water or over feeding. First I would take a sample of water to your LFS from your make up water not from the tank and have it tested. Next I would try some Phosban or GFO, easy products to acquire, not too expensive and easy to use. Are you using any charcoal? What is your light source?
Where did you get the rock from?
I am not familiar with either of those lighting types so I'll leave that to others. Think about upgrading the lighting or supplementing with some T5HO if able.
