Washing my filter socks

1) Hand rinse in slop sink
2) Soak in water+bleach for 24 hours (this gets rid of the smell and anything alive, important to my wife before step 3)
3) Run through the washing machine w/ bleach (no soap), extra rinse cycle

I use the pressure washer on them... then let them dry...good as new
ebeez, I tried using a power washer but I could not find a good way to keep the socks anchored. Do you do anything specific to have them stay put when you hit them with the high pressure spray?

Funny you should mention that! LOL.. I usually put on my old pair of shoes and step on the plastic rim while spraying it down. Flip them over and do both sides.. then rinse them off in the sink to get rid of any debris picked up off the ground. I was trying to rig something up but then asked myself.. why over complicate this? :)

I run in the washer with bleach. At times I have forgot they were in there and my wife ran a load of clothes with soap then found them. Even after that they worked fine. She never told me she did it.
