I know we can use the waste water from RODI units for watering plants but could the waste water be used for freshwater tanks if used with a conditioner?

what's the TDS reading of the waste water?

I wanna say about 200 but I would have to check it and the only way I can do that is by pulling the TDS probe out of the 1/4 in T connector to read it

I guess it would depend on what fish you are keeping. Goldfish would do fine in that quality of water. Discus, not so much.

When you say discus I'm thinking cichlids because they are a form of cichlids so what about any other breed of cichlids. The reason why I'm asking is Because I've heard if people using the waste water for their freshwater tanks and since there is a lot of waste for mine I was thinking about saving it for when my parents do water changes on there cichlid tanks.

I wouldn't do it.
Just a risk that you don't wanna take.
Keep watering your plants or lawn with it.
Here in TX we use it to water/keep the foundation moist in some cases.

I think it would be a lot better than just it coming out of your tap! But than again that's where all the bad stuff is stored so it could be worse than just tap water? Good question

What about if I mix waste water with some RODI water to lower the TDS.
Do you think that would be ok then if used with conditioner

I wouldn't risk it.
