I know this has been all over the boards with angelfish being reef safe or not. I will say that not all angelfish are reef safe and always buy with caution. I was very hesitant in buying an angelfish for my dominant SPS tank. Went with the Wantanabei as they are considered reef safe. Well think again this sucker has taking a liking in all my sps colonies. Now to trap this sucker and move him to another tank.

As of right now just nipping at the polyps. I was wondering why I had no polyps extension on all my corals. Then I sat there and watched the accuser irritating dang near all my corals.

the flame angel i used to have nip at sps too, so no pe most of the time but the sps were still growing. My acans and chalices on the other hand....

Yea wasn’t gonna take my chance on the typical Flame angel or CB. So I went with one that are supposedly reef safe. Should have stuck to my gut feeling.

Out of curiosity, what do you feed the fish? Any clue what it was eating before you bought it?

I make my own blends of food. Very similar to LRS and loves it. I also auto feed pellets that he eats as well along with algae sheets on clips. That doesn’t keep him occupied enough I guess and the corals taste better.
