I got a watchman goby and pistol shrimp a week ago. I have a 20gal/20gal sump. Parameters good. I have a purple pseudochromis and two clowns. The purple has been harassing the goby. But he was eating and poking his head out everyday. Now tonight he's just hanging out on the sand. His fins look fine, he ate a little when I offered him some mysis. Just a nibble. He's been out for over 3 hours. The purple has also been sleeping under the rock in that area as well. I did some rock changes to try to calm the situation and get them to establish new territories. I have one clown that is clearly larger than the other and the smaller one has some ventral damage on one fin. Nothing crazy. The other clown chases him when I come to feed or just get near the tank. I also hope to calm that situation. Anyone experience their watchman doing this? I know the pistol is still alive because the sand is all nicely moved around the rock entrances. Thanks! Hate to lose this little guy! Any advice is welcome.
