Watchman goby and pistol shrimp

They apparently paired up immediately!! That’s why I thought he was dead!! Well I’m excited. Any tips on keeping these guys happy other than what I’m doing?
provide lots and lots shells. The pistol likes to collect shells to fortify its bunkers

I usually drop very small pieces of shrimp nearby the burrow for the pistol to grab back into his burrow. Make sure your iodine levels are good to promote proper molting for your shrimp.
My goby knows when it’s feeding time by hovering near the burrow and then darting up to the top of the tank to partake in the feast.

keep lots of varied rubble, shells to allow the shrimp to strengthen the burrow.

How does it work with the auto feeder?

Asking this because I don't want to starve the goby/pistol shrimp to death with an one month long vacation.

My yasha goby and candy cane duo absolutely love TDO pellets. O give them only RN mysis feast, and RN TDO pellets.
I see my candy cane most often when feeding pellets as the yasha doesn’t seem to share those as much as the mysis feast , and I think they love them. As hardy as they are I’d have no worries leavin them with a trusted auto feeder ( which I haven’t looked into because I don’t treat myself to month long vacations, super jealous of that btw) stocked with TDO pellets.
