Looking to get a watchman goby. I have about an inch of sand. Is that enough or should I skip on the fish?

Oh cool... yes my rock went in first and then the sand... just worried I didn’t have enough sand for him/her to dig in or hide if neededInch should be fine, just make sure your rocks are situated on the glass of your tank. Goby's love to dig could cause some shifting.
I’ve got a big butt cleaner shrimp in my 56 gal tank... I have no idea how much more he is going to grow but seams like every other month it molts. Also get one of the smaller shrimp to go with it, it’s the shrimp that does the digging.

My cleaner would probably carry it around the rocks... I have seen my fish visit for cleaning though... it’s usually after the lights go out...cool to watch the fish swim around the shrimp as it does it’s thing.I don’t think a goby with pair with a cleaner? Think you need a pistol or the like.

I’ll have to look into a shrimp... I had a peppermint shrimp on my crew in the beginning and he cleaned them dam pests right off my rocks...
