Watchmen goby lost an eye...

My yellow watchmen goby seems to have lost his left eye. The wound looks extremely clean, almost as if he never had it. No discoloration, swelling, ect... so who did it!? Clownfish, Pygmy Angel, Cleaner shrimp? He seems to be absolutely fine, and is still eating well. Just hope whoever did this isnt a repeat offender...

Clownfish can be extremely vicious at times. A R2R member reported one jumped up and bit him on his eye while he was bending over the tank doing maintenance. Yikes!

Could have been many things. Maybe it ran into the rocks or a coral? Could have been an attack?

Bets are on the clown from that line up. Keep a close eye on it and make sure it doesn't form a bacterial infection.

Sounds like results from aggression.
i have 3 tanks. Smallest has single clown- no issue. Cube has seven Different types of percula - no issues but I eliminated a hand biter a while back from bunch.
My big tank has two breeder pairs and the larger pair are nasty. I may fire up a bio cube just for them
