Watchmen goby needs to go

I’ve been having issues with this guy even tho he is doing a good job. In some places of my tank there’s no sand. There is a cave he is always in and puts all the sand over there. I want to get him out of the tank but don’t know what the best way for that is. Any help would be much appreciated

One thing you could try before removing him is adding more sand they generally like a sand bed a inch and a half or deeper

What size is the tank? If you give him a pistol shrimp to pair up with the shrimp will do all the tunnel building and the goby will just be the lookout.

/But if you're set on removing him a bottle trap would likely work.

how big is your tank? how much rock do you have? How deep is your sand bed?
