Water Box 35g Tank

Hi everyone, still a bit new to saltwater, I got a Waterbox Aquarium 35g and it’s ready and set up, but was wondering any suggestions on what to put in the sump? And what should go where inside the sump! TIA!

Referencing the 2nd pix:
1) large left section would be where tank drain line goes with water flowing through the white foam media into return chamber.
2) the lower right chamber looks like it's not connected to the rest of sump area and probably was used as ATO chamber.

Should I run a protein skimmer in the larger section of the sump? Thanks for your input. Really appreciate it

… which you could keep media reactors in
or even convert into a fuge..

No worries. Depends on tank livestock (fish) load. In the beginning of my tank, I did not run skimmer. But to answer your question that's where skimmer would be placed. Due to sump size, probably would be hard to place both skimmer (PO4 removal) and refugium (NO3 removal) in that same section if you were thinking about running both skimmer and refugium.
