So here i am again. Those of us who have been in this hobby for more than 10 years(or 20) have gone through ups and downs. Swore we would quit, never touch another grain of salt. But it always pulls us back. So here I am. I have had an itch for a bigger tank (220) but the price tag is terrifying. So I found this complete system(minus sand) online used for a great deal and had to give it another go. It’s an 80 gallon with a 29 sump. 3 kessils put out more light than I even want to be honest. Skimmer in the sump. Need to get a carbon reactor and attach uv sterilizer. I plan to keep reef fish, lps, soft corals and easy sps. I want to keep it as simple as possible with equipment doing 20% weekly water changes to keep things static. Please give advice or comments on the current state of affairs. Pics are with aqua scaping. I actually love how it turned out. Lots of spots for corals.
pics are of rock dry in the tank then filled after 1 hour.
