I have a 75 gallon tank and my father in law found this barrel in the swamp but it has these Lil predrilled holes in the bottom..... any ideas first as in sealing them/ safe to use and also cleaning? It's 32 gallon so it's perfect any comments would be appreciated or should I just get a new one

id totally get a new one, spending time and clenaing supplies to clean that thing vs running down to the store and buying a 32 gallon brute would be better imo, i am one to salvage and save money if it makes sense.

Recycle it, find a company near you that using vinegar in processing food and you will have the perfect barrel for holding water. No cleaning, and filling holes and wondering what was in that barrel in the first place that was found in the swamp;)

I was trying not to say body:eek:
Brute is a line of Rubber made trash cans, but if you can find a good food grade barrel, myself I would prefer that over a brute trash can. The plastic in food grade barrels is much thicker, and brute tend to break down over. time.
