I have an LED strip that has been good to me for about 4 years, I was doing a water change and water got on it. It turns on but flashes at times like a lighting storm and the digital section for the timer is all wacky. Is there anything I can do? If not could you point me to a cheap alternative for a 90 gallon standard reef tank?

Let it dry. If you can pull it apart put rice in it overnight.

For cheap led check eBay.

It needs to be unplugged taken apart and cleaned with 90% rubbing alcohol on the board where the salt is dried into it

get some

Rice is for fw wet- not for conductive spills. You never power on a suspected wet device to see if it works

You remedy based on the spill and alcohol is great always for boards

Two weeks ago I drove four hours to get to a place I wanted to fly and spilled coffee down my monitor. Fpv screen out, in the field.

Depending on where grounds are made it can't be brought back in the field, even after descaling. But you try because it's possible. Mine would come on, flicker and shut off.

Take apart screws see brown across some points near the on off sw

Take gel hand sanitizer and napkin and spot clean. Blow dry

Plug in

Party

You have a chance if it will still at least flicker. Be mindful of capacitors no self jolting allowed on mcguyver field runs
