So normally on my my days off I try and do my water every week. Sometimes I will do one every 2 weeks. I will mix up a five gallon bucket with instant ocean reef Crystal's the night before with rodi water. I usually on siphon from the back section of the tank where my overflow and filters are. I rarely siphon any sand and it say pretty clean with my crew I have. I change my purigen once every three months or so. I was running chemipure elite but decided to take it out. My water stay clear except when my diamond goby is out and about doing his thang. I do have something building up on my back wall some little white dots and noticed some on my rocks. Any ways just thought I would share this and how I do it for my nano. Very simple and fun process for me.

Those little white things are spiroid worms. Harmless filter feeders . Have you considered starting a build thread?
