Hey everyone!
Happy almost Canada day to my fellow Canucks!!

I have had my tank up and running for 3 months. Everything looking good so far.
But when I test for nitrate and phosphate with salifert test kits. It says I have zero.

I have done 10% water changes EVERY week.

Should I hold off on water changes until my nitrate and phosphate go up to 2 ppm nitrate and 0.1 phosphate?

I do have the complete red sea recipe for mixed reef. So i could monitor the other parameters and adjust.

I know most of you are much more experienced than me so i am reaching out to the pros for advice!

Thanks!
Paul.

Thanks for the reply. So if they do not go up in two weeks could i try adding another fish? I currently only have two in a 13.5 gallon.
