Water Change percentage for 50 Cube??????

Hey folks,

Just picked up a SCA Aquarium 50 gallon Starfire tank. I would like to know what water Change percentage I should be doing while running a sump and skimmer. Tank isn't running just yet. Working on plumbing and prep work. Thanks

Normally i would aim for 25% a month. I would do weekly small changes that add up to the monthly total of 25%.

For ease. Just do a five gallon bucket each time. It makes math easy.
And twice a month is fine.
If nutrints are seriously low. Skipping a WC is actually not a bad idea.
