water change program using the dos , help needed

i am trying to perform water change using the DOS from Apex like 30l at one go and not over the period of 24 hours .

how can i program that ?

the manual water change task is for over a period of 24 hours which is not ideal to me . waste of time

My setting

There are other brands with large pump for large volume water changes, I would suggest looking into the AutoAqua AWC. I looked into my options when I decided to go with a Auto Water Change and the DOS is the best fit for my AWC. I like to smaller intervals but it does take some time to tune the system. Also with the smaller invervals my dosing has been cut by 3/4 right now.

Don’t want to hijack, but would a DOS be good for a 40g?

Yes. In essence if one were to have a 2200gal system one can do a %10 water change of 221.9 gallons over 7 days at 31.7 gals per day. The Dose would be running 24/7.

One just cannot do a quick 10 minute 8 gallon water change.

if it is not possible they should not be calling manual water change . just tag it as AWC since it is over a period of time. the expectation is that i have is once i trigger the feed mode , i want 30l out of the tank and 30l in the tank
