im gonna be setting up a 350 in next couple months with Neptune dailey water changes' ill be running a refugium with skimmer and bio pellet reactor what would be the recommended daily water change? ill be using my old rock dried and cured with no bio load for a while obviously

Personally, I'd not bother with any filtration or much lighting for many months, or water changes, until your tank starts to mature.
A 'fuge, skimmer and bio pellet reactor are all geared towards removing nutrients, and you won't have any to worry about for some time ... until you start upping the bioload.

I am a conceptual fan of daily WC. When it comes to practical application... I am still on the fence about it. I have my biweekly WC process pretty dialed in now.

Well the "conventional" WC amount is 20% every two weeks. So that comes out to 36% per month (because the second WC removes "new water" from the prior change).

So if we assume you want to match convention, you should do 1.5% (5.25 units) each day for a total of ~128 units per month to turn over 36% each month.

Daily WCs compound a bit, meaning you will be mixing more water in total. Unless that 350 liter tank, you better get a big barrel. And make sure that DOS pump is really up to this volume task. I attach a quick and dirty spreadsheet if you want to play around or double check my calcs.

I think 1% daily is a fine plan.
