So my nitrates are high in my tank want to do a 20% water change this week, but I did one last month all my parameters took a big swing. So to combat that swing wanted to know if I can add all for reef to the bucket with clean salt water to raise the parameters before I put It in my tank. Is that a good idea or try another method?
Current parameters:
Alk- 9.3
Cal- 468
Mag-1350
Phos- 0.06
Nitrates- 28.5

Pick a salt mix closer to where you want to be - or adjust your parameters slowly to match the salt you want to use.
Remember, Red Sea Pro is a mix with elevated elements.
