so i just ordered a Waterbox 20 cube and im starting basically all new liferock dry live rock and live sand. maybe this sounds dumb but my question is would it be beneficial to the new tank if i use my water change water from my established 75g to fill the 20 cube? or should i just start with all new fresh mixed saltwater? thank you in advance for your input!

My thinking.....

Your doing a water change to get rid of waste, why put that waste into your new tank? So little bacteria is present in the water column, there is little to no benefit from using it.

You don't know what is in your water so why risk it in a new set up, add new water.
