Water change with different salt help

Hey all, I am leaving for a week and my structure for when I leave is I water change (33%) the day before and top off all ATOs and leave the food out for my roommate to feed the fish. I cannot make it to the store I buy my regular salt at but have another LFS I’m not sure what brands they have. If it came down to it would it be better to not do the water change or to change with a different salt mix?

I don’t think doing a water change right before leaving is good practice. If you make a mistake, you won’t be there to fix it.

Do it when you come back, there is no rush. Unless there is something going on in your tank that renders it necessary.
