Water Changes and Growth

Anyone not doing water changes and getting good growth with sps? I’m running a Calcium Reactor so some trace elements are being replenished but how important are the other trace elements for growth?

Not sure about growth, but trace elements do affect coloration. You can look into Triton method if you're looking to avoid water changes as a way to replenish trace elements. If you want to continue using calcium reactor you can look into their Infusion product. Or any other well known trace supplement system such as KZ.

I would think all elements are important or they wouldn't be contained in the salt mix. Whether those elements are replenished via water changes or dosing probably doesn't make a difference though.

I haven’t done any water changes and my Icp test came out good. I just feel like growth could be faster
