Water changes for coral only tank

I have a nano reef tank (29G coral only tank). Do I still need to do weekly water changes? I eventually plan to put 3-4 fishes with shrimp snails and crabs but right now I just have 2 coral frags, a cleaner goby, 1 nassarius snail and 3 bumble bee snails. Was thinking of doing water changes once a month until I get more fish. What say?

Once a month is plenty.
