I neglected my tank for around 4 weeks. By neglected I mean no water changes. Algae was growing at a substantial rate on my glass.

Started doing 5 gallon water changes weekly starting...5 weeks ago.

My Coraline Algae has FINALLY started Colonizing my rockwork.

The problem is my coral growth is not where I'd like it to be.

My Birdsnest hasn't grown At ALL since november of last year.

My trumpet as well hasn't grown. AT ALL since October of last year.

Galaxia is going through growing stages and bleaching stages.

My Kenya and Duncan have been flourishing.

Would doing 2 water changes a week promote growth?

Depends on how much your calc and alk are depleted. Have you tested your parameters lately?
