I'm somewhat n the same boat. Since changing my sand bed in my 28 gal nano I've been chasing number s so I've been testing daily for about a week and am not happy with the results.so today on doing another water change after doing a 50I have a 20 gallon nano with 2 clownfish and some soft and LPS corals and I don’t know how often I should be doing water changes. Any suggestions? What do you guys do? Thank you!

percent change 5 days ago . The smaller the tank it appears and having a smaller water volume leaves much more room for problems.haveing a nano has been much more difficult than any of my larger tanks hince the attraction.i would suggest testing often at least for a while and let your number s tell you when to do a water change as all tanks are unique to their inviroment I even thought about adding a sump to add vOlume and flow which would help a lot but to me it would defeat my idea of completing my nano. Hope this helps and good luck. R
