I definitely respect all of the replies.I 100% and understand that every tank runs different. I just wish there was more evidence to back up water changes on the Percentage of how much you should change per gallon. I’m glad to see that we can take different referrals opinions on water changes to see how much we should change but in my opinion in the long run that cost us a lot more money.

I have a 200lt heavily stocked coral tank ( softies ) and do one 20% water change a month. My mag never changes ? and I have to top up my cal by a small amount every two weeks. ( I do test my water every Fri at the same time ) I assume that my salt water that I get from a friend has enough mag and almost enough cal for me never having to do more. Two buckets and a long piece of hose..20 mins later all done for another month.

5G weekly on my 13.5G EVO. No dosing required.
