On my tank I'm water changing around once every 6 weeks but I only change between 10 and litters max.
I will add 6 litters of fresh mix when completing my canister filter maintenance which is 3 week intervals.
But I frequently top up and have my own mix of essential minerals to keep levels good.

1.5% a day for me but with a small tank that’s very easy, obviously.

Zero for me. Yes, it's fairly common for nano owners to perform water changes (10%/every 2 weeks, etc.) as this replenishes most of the elements and thus negates the need for dosing (other than the occasional manual adjustment).
