once a week like clockwork I replace 15 gallons in my 90. I firmloy believe it is the best thing that you can do for a reef tank. Hands Down!

Good rule of thumb is 10% a week for stability and if tests show funny do 20%.

I change 2gal a day in my 120 heavily stocked tank. I had a constant battle of continually high nitrates. Started doing the daily water changes approx. 5 months ago and the corals seem to be responding well and I am having a slow, steady decline in nitrates. It literally takes 2 minutes a day and it seems less stressful than larger, weekly or biweekly water changes. Also, my tank is out an outside wall of my dining room, no basement, and far away from the garage. I got really tired of a 32g cont. in my dining room 2 or 3 days a week. Now my container is in the garage and out of sight.

Water changes ... I do about 10g once every month or even Longer some Times . Ihave 29 with 20 sump.

i voted once a week because i have two different 40gallon breeders that are connect to one 20 gallon sump with a Baby-G Skimmer, refuge, and carbon/gfo filtration system.

Here ya go. Some Fresh pics. I run a reef octo Skimmer. Bh50. Reactor with seachem seagel. And lots. Of. Cheato and some flame algae. Also packed out tank and. Sump with live rock id guess Close To 75pnds low. Ball guess. I pretty. Much let my corals tell me when its time for a water Change. Dose. 2part every day. Rkl control s it all. Ph. Orp. And ato.
