It seems I start to get dino’s every time I start doing regular water changes. 32 biocube w mixed reef and Steve’s leds. Nitrates are 2-5 range, Phos - .03

Considering stopping water changes and monitoring calcium, alk, and mag. Plus topping off. Thoughts?

Are you using RODI water?

using RODI water? I would recommend testing your RODI and new saltwater to see where you are at. Start to troubleshoot from the beginning

Yes, I use RO water, no tap. Tank is 2 years old

Looks like my nitrates have dropped to 1 or less. I’ve been traveling for work. Dosing some nitrates And will feed more to see what happens. Phosphate appears to be 0.17. Not going to dose phosphate at this time

I am a fan of no water changes. Look up
Glen Fong from the netherlands. Good read. He has a post on hear somewhere. My nano was over a year no water changes and very stable.
My 120 is 4 months old and no water changes.
I dose esv strontium weekly and test for it.
I dose dsr trace which is one of glens products.
Stability is the key.
