Hey everyone. I finally made the jump it started a nano tank. It is a five gallon Fluval Evo running stock lighting and I have an in-tank media basket which is holding filter floss, chemi pure, and stock biological media. I have two pieces is Marco Rock at 3 lb and live caribsea sand. I cycled the tank for 2 months with a raw shrimp and bacteria before turning on the lights. I also dosed microbacter clean for two weeks before turning on the lights. I have a large outbreak of diatoms and starting to get some green patches. I'm using RO water and premixed saltwater from my local Reef store. I'm currently dosing microbacter7 daily on the advice from Bulk Reef Supply. My question is, is the chemi-pure in microbacter7 removing all the nutrients in my tank down to near zero which is causing the diatoms to stick around. Let me know
