Hey all,
I'm looking for some help with understanding the attached water chemistry report, I'll be honest I simply have no idea what I'm really reading lol.
My predicament is I live in Bucharest, Romania, I'm a British Expat and my grasp on the language isn't entirely there often making thing's harder. Currently finding suitable water which I can use for my saltwater tank is difficult. Speaking to my local LFS their suggestion was to just buy a RODI system but as I'm currently renting my apartment this isn't a option for me. They did offer to sell me the water I needed but it's straight from their fish tank, not fresh RODI water and I simply don't like this as a valid option.
What I'm imaging my best option will be is to find a cheap, reliable distilled water source where I can continuously purchase as required. It's not gonna be stupidly huge amounts because I'm only currently planning to run a nano tank.
This brings me to what appeared as the best company so far, http://h2on.ro/
You can see their report attached.
As mentioned previously, I have no idea what this report is really saying... Reading their website they talk about how they do everything to extract all the minerals from the water, it's run through a reverse osmosis system and so on. It sounded perfect, from this report however it appears from the little I'm potentially understanding from this report they are adding chlorine and a few other elements again after?
Maybe I'm reading this entirely wrong however... Help really would be appreciated or maybe someone else has an idea for a water source?
