So in about a week I will have Terminex spray my beds with some kind of CO2 gas to freeze away bed bugs. The question is will this effect my water chemistry in my nano reef? I was thinking I would have a ph issues. Any way to prevent this? Maybe cover the tank or will that make matters worse

Is your nano in the bed room? If so then probably would be a good idea to cover it. Otherwise, I would just open the windows.

Yea, I'd probably cover it during their application and then open up the windows with a fan going which shouldn't take long to flush the excess CO2 out.

I've bug bombed my entire house before and had to "tent" my tank with plastic sheathing for approximately a 12 hour period. It meant I had to go a day without lights and I did have a little PH swing on my meter but nothing terribly excessive (not enough to cause alarm)- some tanks will swing PH anywhere from .3, .4 or .5 points in a 24 hour period anyway. Good luck - some of those pesticides are yucky stuff, always best to play if safe
