I want to add more circulation to my 29 gallon biocube. I am debating between the hydor koralia nano 240 or the hydor koralia 425. Im not sure if the 425 would be to strong and blow my sand everywhere. Anyone have any experience with either of these?

When I had my 29 biocube I upgraded the stock return pump to a mj1200 and had a koralia 750 in there, seems like it was moderate flow to me. Didn't have a problem with sand blowing everywhere but then I had tropic eden reef flakes.

I would think the 240 or 425 wouldn't be enough, but if you have the money why not get a mp10 or a tunze 6025.

I currently have a 425 in my fw 30 g tank and thinks its not even enough flow in there.

Either is going to be pretty weak if you have stony corals.
I have a Nano 425 and a Koralia K-1 plus a modded AC 110 HOB refugium in my 16G bowfront with 2-3" of Southdown sand and its nowhere near enough flow. At a minimum you will want two 425's but you might consider a MP-10 or the new Jebao WP-25. One of either of those would do the trick.

Just fit a Koralia600 last month, my fish absolutely love it. Only recently got coral, so can't speak to the differences. All I know is that I want more flow!!
