Why is water circulation important in your aquarium? There are many reasons. if your tank is a reef it helps corals remove there waste. Another thing i have learned is with good circulation it provides exercise for your fish which keeps fat from forming in there liver. There are many other benifits so feel free to post.

Hi there
Live Rock also needs good circulation to perform properly and help towards Not getting Cyanobacteria, Good circulation generates an Excellent mixing of the systems water and balances out Differences between O2 Rich surface water and Water deprived Of oxygen local to The substrates.

Helps keep the detritus suspended for the Skimmer or overflow to grab it.
